Still have irregular period

Been on PCOSITOL for 4 months now to regulate my period. Got my period 2 weeks after starting the supplement and it lasted for about 6 days, but it has disappeared for almost 3 months now. Usually got my period every second month before. Will continue with it until the 6th month before I go to my Gynae again. Besides that I definitely feel more energetic and less anxious/stressed all the time, that’s why I am giving 3 stars.

One of the main reasons I take the supplement is because my doctor recommended it to me however I really wish more can be done to improve the taste of the supplement. I dread taking this supplement daily because of the taste and have tried to look out for other supplements in the market as an alternative but so far this is the only product with the correct ratio of inositols needed. The taste is awful and the soapy texture after mixing in water adds to the unpleasant experience. Hoping that this is something that can be looked into for the future.

Shocked

I’m a week in with the PCOSITOl and I’ve had the heaviest period flow of all time. Is this normal? I’ve been struggling with acne on my forehead since a year ago and since starting my pcositol journey the pimples have gotten more inflamed. I’m worried that this may not be the right fit. Should I finish this box and see how it goes or should I stop immediately?

All supplements need about 6 weeks to show the benefits and its too early to say the supplement is causing the unwanted symptoms.

Regular period

First month of using it I noticed improved energy levels, clearer skin, and for the first time in 5 years had a regular period lasted for 5 days after 2 months of using it.
So far I am happy with the results of PICOSITOL. I am currently trying for a baby so I will come back and give my review after a month.

Trying to conceive

I have started using pcositol earlier this year and it has really helped to regulate my periods. However, I would like to find out if it is possible to fall pregnant while taking pcositol every morning?

It works!

Hormonal imbalance with absent periods

I suffered with hormonal imbalance for close to two years, I wasn’t seeing my period for two years. A friend of mine introduced me to PCOSITOL. I took it for one month. I wasn’t even consistent with it. However after taking it for a few days I noticed to some changes in my mood, I was thinking more clearly no brain fog I could focus on one thing for long periods of time. So after a month on PCOSITOL my period came with no pain and with a normal consistent flow. This product is amazing but please make it available in Zambia it will help a lot women.

Good product, struggle with the flavour

The product seems to work well. Starting to get my cycle back after 5 months of using this product. I think it also increased my sensitivity to sugar, so now eating a bit of sugar gives me a fast sugar rush and crash, so I eat less sugar. The down side is the strawberry flavour is very fake and I find it difficult to stomach, but getting used to it. It makes me sleepy due to blood pressure lowering effect and containing magnesium, so I take it at night.

Does PCositol come in different flavours? The berry one is terrible and it's the only flavour I seem to find in the South African market.

Definitely helped balance hormones

I was recommended Pcositol by my dietician and honestly I don’t know how I managed to live before taking it. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS but ever since taking this supplement, things have started to feel “normal” (as normal as they could be). My period started becoming regular, less period pains, less PCOS related symptoms. I feel feminine again. It’s been quite lovely.

Side effects

I started this product and on the first day i got stomach cramps 2/3 hours after and diarrhoea, is this normal when first starting it or it is not ?

Hi L.Reddy - thank you for your review. This is not a normal side effect. Please stop using Pcositol for 2-3 days. Then take the product again to test if it is causing the cramps/diarrhoea. A suggestion would also be to use the product every other day when first starting out.
