We are very excited to announce the launch of a new product category of books to VitaGene.

This is a wonderful resource for consumers to expand their knowledge in various medical/nutritional fields. We believe in supporting local authors by showcasing their literature contributions targeting the South African audience.

We are launching this category with our very own VitaScript practitioner and best-selling South African author, Inè Reynierse. Iné , FDN-P, Nutrigenomics fanatic and mom of 4, admits whole-heartedly that she picked up on the great need for people to have a budget friendly, easily accessible and non-overwhelming selection of recipes to address their health challenges without having to study nutrition per se. We are very proud to be a listed distributor of her book, “Low Carb is Lekker 3”, which is available in both English and Afrikaans versions.

We are proud to have Eat Well Feel Well – Fighting cancer with nutrition as a “one-of-a-kind” recipe book available on VitaGene. The co-author, Jeske Wellmann, is a registered dietitian with more than 25 years of experience in the field of dietetics. She believes in sharing knowledge and assisting her patients to achieve their health goals and making a meaningful difference. The aim of this recipe book is to provide practical advice to the individual with cancer, their family and caregivers on how to eat better choices and to boost the immune system, managing side effects and supporting recovery during and after treatment.

Cath Day, co-author of Food for Sensitive Tummies is a dietitian with a special interest in irritable bowel syndrome. She answers all the questions you may be too embarrassed to ask in her book, focusing on step-by-step guidelines for eliminating trigger foods, lists of ingredients for sensitive and super sensitive tummies, what to look out for on food labels, and recipes that the whole family will love. Cath provides scientifically sound and individualized nutrition advice and recommendations to her clients / patients. Cath is also a FODMAP certified dietitian as she has completed the Low FODMAP dietetic training offered by Monash University in Australia.
