Activ-Vial™ technology comprises of an insulated, desiccant-lined bottle containing polymers within the bottle wall that continually absorb environmental moisture incurred after opening. Additionally, Activ-Vial™ reduces light exposure while maintaining consistent temperature within the packaging (Figure 2). Probiotics in the Activ-Vial™ bottle are protected by this moisture defence system when kept below 25° Celsius, providing practitioners and patients with the convenience of room temperature storage, while also maintaining product stability. This specialised packaging remains effective until expiry, ensuring that probiotic strains are kept at full strength and remain live throughout their total lifespan.
