Berberine is recognised as an AMPK (adenosine monophosphate protein kinase) activator, a crucial enzyme in metabolic regulation. This complex features an advanced liposomal delivery system designed to overcome traditional bioavailability challenges, ensuring effective absorption. Natroceutics® Berberine Complex provides berberine alongside liposomal chromium to support healthy glucose and lipid metabolism. Its dual-release mechanism optimises the sustained activation of AMPK, contributing to balanced blood sugar levels and overall metabolic health.

Recommended Usage

Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 capsule once or twice per day at the start of the largest meals of the day or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Natroceutics® Berberine Complex is not recommended for children younger than 12 years due to insufficient available evidence.

Patients with hypersensitivity to berberine, tree turmeric, goldenseal, goldthread, oregan grape, European barberry, phellodendron, chromium, leather, or any of the other components of the formulation.

The berberine and chromium in Natroceutics® Berberine Complex may increase the risk of low blood glucose levels in patients treated with antidiabetic medicines, including insulin, and careful monitoring of blood glucose levels is required, especially at the onset of treatment. Dosage adjustments of antidiabetic medicines may be required under supervision of a medical doctor.

The concurrent use of Natroceutics® Berberine Complex and ciclosporin is contraindicated since berberine may reduce metabolism and increase serum levels of ciclosporin.

Use of Natroceutics® Berberine Complex is contraindicated during pregnancy. Its constituent, berberine, is thought to cross the placenta and may have detrimental effects on the foetus. Kernicterus has been reported in new-born infants who were exposed to berberine. Berberine may also stimulate uterine contractions.

Berberine in Natroceutics® berberine complex may pass into breast milk. Use during lactation is contraindicated.

Berberine: The Must have!

Keeps the liver, the spleen, the pankreas happy. Therefore the gut is feeling much better. The limfnodes are not working overtime and neither is my heart going into overtime trying to keep my blood pressure in tact. My blood sugar is steady and low, my weight is consistently decreasing and my skin is glowing!
