PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Berberine is a potent AMPK (adenosine monophosphate protein kinase) activator in the body. AMPK is known as the ‘metabolic master switch’ due to its significant role in regulating blood sugar levels, blood pressure, healthy cholesterol levels and body composition. AMPK can be activated naturally through calorie restriction and exercise as well as with berberine. When used correctly, berberine can be an effective AMPK activator and offers other significant health advantages.
However, standard berberine supplementation may have limited results for some, as oral bioavailability can be compromised due to influences of the gut microbiome or missed doses from required frequency of use. Natroceutics® Berberine has been developed using specialised liposomal delivery technology which overcomes the challenges of regular berberine supplementation while remaining scientifically validated.

If pregnant, nursing or taking medication, consult your healthcare practitioner before use.
Do not use this product if you have an allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Keep out of reach of children.
Natroceutics Berberine Complex is not recommended for children younger than 12 years due to insufficient available evidence.
Patients with hypersensitivity to berberine, tree turmeric, goldenseal, goldthread, oregan grape, European barberry, phellodendron, chromium, leather, or any of the other components of the formulation.
The berberine and chromium in Natroceutics Berberine Complex may increase the risk of low blood glucose levels in patients treated with antidiabetic medicines, including insulin, and careful monitoring of blood glucose levels is required, especially at the onset of treatment. Dosage adjustments of antidiabetic medicines may be required under supervision of a medical doctor.
The concurrent use of Natroceutics Berberine Complex and ciclosporin is contraindicated since berberine may reduce metabolism and increase serum levels of ciclosporin.
Use of Natroceutics Berberine Complex is contraindicated during pregnancy. Its constituent, berberine, is thought to cross the placenta and may have detrimental effects on the foetus. Kernicterus has been reported in new-born infants who were exposed to berberine. Berberine may also stimulate uterine contractions.
Berberine in Natroceutics berberine complex may pass into breast milk. Use during lactation is contraindicated.
