DNAlysis DNA GrowBaby® — Personalised Maternal Nutrition & Pregnancy Genetic Test
Maternal genetic testing assesses specific genetic variations that influence critical biological processes during the prenatal phase. By examining these pathways, healthcare practitioners can identify unique nutritional and physiological requirements crucial for fetal development. This data enables the formulation of targeted dietary, supplement, and lifestyle strategies tailored specifically to the maternal profile. Implementing these precise interventions helps mitigate pregnancy-related risks and supports optimal neonatal outcomes.
Important Consultation Requirement
Please note: Feedback and reports from this test can only be obtained via a consultation with a registered DNAlysis practitioner. Please contact VitaGene for assistance in finding a practitioner from our database of registered practitioners. There will be an additional fee for the consultation.
About This Test
The DNA GrowBaby® test provides valuable insights into key biological pathways that influence maternal and fetal health. Health outcomes can be optimised, for mom and baby, using gene-based personalised diet, supplement, and lifestyle interventions from preconception to birth and beyond.
Ideal
Any woman planning to conceive, optimising health during pregnancy, or trying to fall pregnant with a history of pregnancy complications may benefit from the GrowBaby® test.
Test Results
Studies have shown that dietary intake and nutrition knowledge is greatly improved in individuals who received personalised nutrition advice as compared to general advice for maternal and fetal health.
The selection of genes included in the GrowBaby® test have multiple peer-reviewed studies examining how variations in these genes contribute to birth phenotypes, birth outcomes, and birth conditions.
The GrowBaby® report enables the personalisation of diet, nutritional, and supplement recommendations according to your unique genetic profile.
