Modulen IBD is a specialised, nutritionally complete formula developed by Nestlé HealthScience for the dietary management of Crohn's disease. Its unique casein-based composition provides essential macronutrients and micronutrients, serving as a sole source of nutrition or a supplement. This therapeutic formula is designed to support the specific dietary needs of both paediatric patients (aged 5 years and above) and adults with active Crohn's disease, or as an adjunct during remission, promoting effective disease management.
Indications:
For use in Crohn's disease either as an alternative to steroid therapy during the active phase, as a supplement during the remission phase or adjunct to medical steroid therapy.
Recommended Usage
As directed by a healthcare professional:
1 kcal/ml: 50 g powder (6 scoops) + 210 ml water = 250 ml
1 kcal/ml: 200 g powder (24 scoops) + 850 ml water = 1000 ml
1.5 kcal/ml: 75 g powder (9 scoops) + 190 ml = 250 ml
1.5 kcal/ml: 300 g powder (36 scoops) + 750 ml = 1000 ml
