PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Supercal™ by Good Health is a combination of ingredients that has been synergistically formulated for total bone nutrition. It combines absorbable forms of calcium with co-factors for calcium absorption and utilization. Supercal™ contains calcium hydroxyapatite which is a natural form of calcium as found in bones and calcium citrate is a highly absorbable form of calcium. Zinc and manganese are required by the enzymes involved in bone formation and maintenance. Vitamin D is beneficial for the absorption of dietary calcium and bone mineralisation. Vitamin K is required for the activation of bone protein to bind calcium in bone. Boron is a trace mineral necessary for the activation of vitamin D and reduction of calcium loss. Equisetum arvense (horsetail) provides a source of silica which is important for collagen formation. Collagen is an essential component for bone calcification.

Supercal™ promotes good bone health by providing a dietary supplementation of calcium, magnesium and other co-factors required for optimal calcium absorption and utilization.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Adults: Take one to three capsules daily with food. It is best taken in the evening but can be taken at any time of the day.

Antibiotics: High dose of elemental calcium as found in Supercal™ have shown to affect the absorption and efficacy of various antibiotics.
