Chromium & Cinnamon Complex Capsules

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Chromium is an important mineral that contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. This complex by Viridian is formulated with a high dose of chromium combined with complementary cinnamon and alpha lipoic acid. Chromium picolinate is a bioavailable form of chromium, meaning it is well absorbed and has been shown to contribute to normal macronutrient metabolism.

Cinnamon, also known as ‘sweet wood’, is the brown bark of the cinnamon tree that is dried and used in its tubular form, or ground into a powder. This spice has been well studied clinically and has a long history of use in both Eastern and Western cultures. Sourced from India, the Ceylon cinnamon bark extract is also known as ‘true’ cinnamon. Chromium and Cinnamon Complex forms part of the Viridian Nutrition 7-Day Sugar Detox Plan.

Alpha lipoic acid is a naturally occurring compound that is made in the body and found within every cell. The body makes small amounts of alpha lipoic acid on its own but levels can be increased through diet or supplementation. Foods that contain alpha lipoic acid include red meat, broccoli, tomatoes and spinach. Alpha lipoic acid is both fat and water soluble, making it easy for the body to utilise.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Take one capsule twice daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
