If pregnant, nursing or taking medication, consult your healthcare practitioner before use.
Do not use this product if you have an allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Other medicines and PCOSITOL™ Always tell your healthcare provider if you are using any other medicines. This includes all complementary and traditional medicines. Concomitant use of myo-inositol and anti-diabetic medicines or other herbal products with hypoglycaemic potential might increase the risk of hypoglycaemia.
Dose adjustments to diabetes medicine may be necessary. Concomitant use of Co-enzyme Q10 with high blood pressure medicines can lower blood pressure. Dose adjustments to high blood pressure medicine may be necessary. The myo-inositol levels can be lowered by carbamazepine, lithium and valproate.
Do not give PCOSITOL™ to children under the age of 10 years old. Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility Myo-inositol has been used in amounts up to 4 000 mg daily during pregnancy with no adverse effects reported. The safety during breastfeeding has not been established.
