Mode of Action:

Echinacea has immune modulating properties. Echinacea supports the body’s immune system in the prevention and treatment of many types of bacterial and viral illnesses. Echinacea has been shown in research to be beneficial in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, sinusitis, tonsillitis and the common cold and flu.

Elder Flower (sambucus nigra) prevents the replication of all three strains of Influenza viruses, due to the lectin content of elderberry, which inhibits the viral neuraminidase enzyme, thereby inhibiting the ability of Influenza viruses to enter cells and replicate. Elderberry supports the mucous membranes in the common cold, hay fever, acute and chronic sinusitis and bronchitis.

One of the most widely known and extensively tested properties of propolis is its antibacterial activity, even though it has a wide range of anti-microbial activity. Propolis activates macrophages and stimulates the process of phagocytosis.

Goji berries (lycium barbarum) are a rich source of both macronutrients, micronutrients and phytochemicals which provide comprehensive nutritional, antioxidant and immune support.

Green tea (chamelia sinensis) provides potent antioxidant benefits due to it containing the antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Green tea has also been shown to stimulate the immune system and also exhibits anti-microbial properties to help fight infections.

Vitamin D3 – A deficiency in vitamin D3 may contribute to a lowered immune function.

Multivitamins – The multivitamin mix in JuniorScript Immune+ assists in supporting a healthy immune system and improving vitality.

Selenium (amino acid chelate) is a trace mineral providing essential antioxidant support and immune enhancing benefits.

Zinc – A zinc deficiency may contribute to a lowered immune system and thus it is included in this formula.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Daily Maintenance Dosage:
• Children 1-3 yrs: 5ml once daily with breakfast.
• Children 4-12 yrs: 10ml once daily with breakfast.

Short Term Boosting Dosage During Infections:
• Children 1-3 yrs: 5ml, three times daily with meals.
• Children 4-12 yrs: 10ml, three times daily with meals.

Use the short term boosting dosage at the start of infection and continue for 1 week after it has cleared and then resume the daily maintenance dosage.
