Ashwagandha has shown to be beneficial for the nervous system by providing a calming and rejuvenating effect. It may also improve memory, mood and immune function. Rhodiola is used to improve endurance, stamina, physical strength, concentration and memory. Therefore, it has an overall effect on reducing the effects of stress while increasing energy levels. There may also be a positive effect on the immune system. Siberian ginseng is used during times of stress by increasing vitality, energy and stamina. It may also increase the tolerance to mental, physical and environmental stressors. There may also be a positive effect on the immune system. Tyrosine is an amino acid required to manufacture stress regulating hormones (adrenaline and noradrenaline) which may become depleted during times of stress.

WARNING/CONTRAINDICATIONS

If taking other medication, consult your healthcare practitioner before use. 

Do not use this product if you have an allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Contraindicated with the following:

• Bipolar disorders
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding ((Siberian ginseng and Rhodiola have insufficient research during pregnancy and Ashwagandha is contraindicated during pregnancy)
• Avoid concurrent use with stimulants such as excessive use of caffeine (Red Bull, Guarana etc.) and amphetamines

Cautions:

• Caution with eleuthero coccus senticosus in high blood pressure. (excess of 180/90mmHg)
• Siberian Ginseng: may increase plasma drug levels of Digoxin (used to treat heart failure)
• Tyrosine: As a precursor to thyroxine may aggravate hyperthyroidism and Grave’s disease (although unlikely due to the small amount)
• Ashwagandha: Safety during breastfeeding has not been established and should be avoided.
• Ashwagandha should not be used by individuals suffering from kidney, liver or autoimmune disease.
