PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
PEPTAMEN® JUNIOR by Nestlé is a nutritionally complete and balanced peptide based enteral formula for children 1-10 years, with impaired gastrointestinal function. It is suitable as a tube or oral feeding for children requiring nutritional support.
Indications:
Malabsorption/Maldigestion including: Pancreatitis; Chronic diarrhoea; Short Bowel Syndrome; Steatorrhoea; Gut atrophy; malabsorption associated with HIV/AIDS. Critically ill, including: Early enteral nutrition; Sepsis; Low albumin; Transition/weaning from parenteral nutrition.
RECOMMENDED USAGE
Use as directed by Health Care Professional for oral supplement or enteral tube feed. 250 ml Peptamen Junior = 7 scoops (55g) + 210ml water. 1000 ml Peptamen Junior = 28 scoops (220g) + 850 ml water.
