    OPTIFAST® by Nestlé is recommended for use under the supervision of a healthcare professional or dietitian.

    Overview of the OPTIFAST® Programme:

    • Clinically-proven, nutritionally complete, weight management programme
    • Very low-calorie meal replacement plan
    • Used in conjunction with comprehensive patient education and support

    • Usually a 26-week programme

    Indicated for:

    Adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 plus weight-related co-morbidities such as:

    • Diabetes
    • High blood pressure
    • High cholesterol

    • Sleep apnoea
    • Weight reduction prior to surgery

    Optifast Vanilla shake

    I love the vanilla shake as a breakfast shake. I dissolve 1 tsp of coffee in a bit of hot water first, then add the recommended amount of cold water needed to make the shake . I add the mix and then shake or blend it. I sometimes add a bit of cinnamon into it as well. Its absolutely delicious. The shake fills you up, that you really don't need anything else. I try to drink it at about 09h00 in the morning and have my lunch shake at about 14h00.

    II lost 4kg and 7cm in 2 weeks. Not recommend for use without supervision of a dietician.
