About This Test

Methylation testing, a type of epigenetic test, reveals how old your body is at the cellular level, your speed of ageing (biological vs chronological), and the age of your 11 key organ systems, such as the brain, heart, and liver. The calculation of your biological age reflects the cumulative impact of lifestyle, environment, and medical factors on your body.

This number is a calculation of the toll that life has taken on your body, and is a number that can fluctuate based on lifestyle, environment and/or medical influences. The difference in each of our biological “mileage” is the reason why we may look and feel significantly older or younger than others who share our birth year.

DunedinPACE

Based on the renowned Dunedin study, DunedinPACE measures the rate at which patients biologically age each year relative to the progression of calendar time.

Test Results

This epigenetic test assesses methylation patterns within different organs of the body to help identify root causes of disease and slow ageing. Your healthcare practitioner will interpret the results and provide feedback with interventions to improve methylation patterns for improved health outcomes and ageing.

Actionable dietary and lifestyle interventions may alter methylation patterns influencing how our cells function.

The Process for Practitioners & Patients

1. Script the product to your patient via VitaScript.
2. Your patient will receive an email with a link to purchase.
3. Once purchased, a test kit will be dispatched from DNAlysis to the patient to complete their test. Collection instructions are included in the test kit.
4. The sample is sent to the DNAlysis laboratory and the report sent to you, the practitioner, within 3 to 4 weeks.

Note: if you are not a registered DNAlysis practitioner, you can still script this product to your patient. DNAlysis will then contact you to arrange support for your feedback to your patient and enrol you in their training programme.

The total profit payable to the practitioner on this product is Rxx excluding VAT.
