Berberis aristata (tree turmeric) is a hardy tree that thrives in the high altitude of the western Himalayas. Berberine containing plants have a long history of medicinal use in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. Berberine, an alkaloid from certain plants may help to support healthy blood sugar, insulin sensitivity and blood lipid levels.

Sfera’s Berberine provides 500mg of pure berberine hydrochloride per capsule with no additives.
