Brain Power by Good Health is composed of a unique combination of ingredients which have shown to assist and improve nervous system and cognitive functioning. BacoMind® is a patented, scientifically researched and standardised phytochemical product which has shown to have memory and cognitive enhancing effects. It may be used to improve memory and age-related neurodegenerative disorders. VitaCholine® provides an essential nutrient which is important for the healthy structure and functioning of the human body. Choline supports memory and brain functioning by providing neurotransmitter signalling and communication in the central nervous system. Sage officinalis has shown to support cholinergic activity by helping to maintain healthy neurotransmission. It may also act as a powerful antioxidant which protects cell activity and damage against oxidative stress.

Brain Power is a supplement which is used to support the central nervous system by improving poor memory, brain fog, slow uptake, processing and recall of information.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Teenagers aged 13-17 should take one capsule daily with food or as as advised by a healthcare practitioner.

Adults aged 18 and above should take two capsules daily with food or as as advised by a healthcare practitioner.

This product is not suitable for individuals under the age of 13 years.

WARNING/CONTRAINDICATIONS

If pregnant, nursing or taking medication, consult your healthcare practitioner before use. 

Do not use this product if you have an allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Individuals who are using anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication, such as Warfarin, should use this product with caution as it may have a blood thinning effect.

It should also be used with caution in individuals who are epileptic and on antiepileptic or sedative treatment.

This product may slightly lower blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

Should your general health worsen, or if you experience any untoward effects while taking this medicine, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or healthcare professional for advice.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.

Do not use after the expiry date.

Brain Power contains ingredients which may interact with some medication.

Anticonvulsant: The concomitant use with Sage officinalis leaf as found in Brain Power may increase the risk of seizers due to high amounts of thujone contained in sage.

Sedatives: The concomitant use with Sage officinalis leaf as found in Brain Power may increase the risk of drowsiness.

Antihypertensives/Antihypotensives: Sage officinalis leaf as found in Brain Power has seen to affect blood pressure levels; therefore, caution and regular monitoring is advised in individuals taking antihypertensive or antihypotensive medication.

Antidiabetics: Sage officinalis leaf as found in Brain Power has seen to lower blood sugar levels; therefore, caution and regular monitoring is advised in individuals taking antidiabetic medication.

Cholinergics/Anticholinergics: Bacopa monnieri whole plant as found in Brain Power has seen to affect chemical levels in the body which may decrease or increase the effect of cholinergic and anticholinergic medication.

Thyroid Regulating: Caution is advised in individuals taking thyroid regulating medication since Bacopa monnieri whole plant as found in Brain Power may affect levels of thyroid hormone in the body.
